Reorder Artboards

Reorder artboards without changing their positions.

Using Illustrator’s ‘Rearrange All Artboards’ will reposition them. This script keeps the positions fixed and only changes the order. When printing or exporting to PDF, pages follow the artboard order, so this script ensures they appear exactly as intended.

Select the artboard order

You can also choose additional sort options

Basic Usage

Choose the order in the palette,
Click the Run button.
The artboards will be reordered.
Note: The positions of the artboards will not be moved.
